Scenery far surpassed expectations.
Well...huh. We get down to Route 95 (about 90 minutes south of Moab) to find out it is closed at a bridge and has been for months.
Stop at a little gas station (the quality of the cat walk on top of the tanks ought to get a feel for the whole can't pay at the pump, we sell beeer and ammunition inside, run down vibe), and get local directions of a dirt road around it.
