...plus I'm a little behind on some other photos taken recently (not many though).
So I had some balance transfer checks (which they don't allow to be used online, have to mail them :/), and it's my birthday. So I write the first, seal it in an envelope, start to write the date on the second, and I'm like, "Wait, what date did I write on the other? I wonder if they would honor it...eh, better just tear open the envelope and write a new check."
And this guy is trying to mooch my clam cakes or lobster roll...Camp Cronin, Point Judith. He actually started getting more "aggressive" and I rolled up my windows and he flew off to not return -- I seriously suspect he's a well trained beggar :D

Not sure how I got this on f/9 instead of f/8...I was a little surprised by the blown out background. The gulls are about 10 meters away, the background break wall / beach probably 200 meters.
At my more common 50mm focal length the depth-of-field is 5.6 - 23m.
At 191mm the dof is 9.5 - 10.5m
Need to play with the "cannon" (not canon) lens some more to figure out what the best lengths / exposures are. Bit disappointed how un-sharp these are at 600mm but that might go with the territory, especially anything over 400mm from what I read last night.
