So both Eric and Pat gave me "cool dri" shirts this year, and I don't know who this one came from...but I found their limits today. 80+ degree day, humidity, and split about a 1/4 cord of wood and I could've run the "dri" shirt out like a sponge :D

July keeps on rolling picture dump...
Baked tater and tomato from Pakulis'? Yes please.
Even if that evening I sat in the living room thinking, "I need to go dig a couple potatoes for dinner, but that would involve putting on pants..."
Ironically, Friday evening I picked my first mater!
There was a wardrobe malfunction Friday o_O:
First mater made into Saturday's lunch:
Spent much of Saturday under the Ranger -- new exhaust from the cat back, change transfer case fluid, topped off rear diff (which is leaking but it's a heck of a procedure to split the diff and replace the seal). I didn't like how the rubber bumpers I originally used on the new brake line were holding up, but I came up with the idea of wrapping it with a fuel line:
My Daylillies always surprise me because I forget what we have:
Veggies for Tsylor's party later:
The old catalytic convertor-to-tailpipe connection...it must be bad if the folks at Advanced Auto go "Wow" and ask to take a picture to share with friends:
Finally started splitting the wood:
Garden Veggies at the party:
Cheesy Poofs!

July Photo Dumping
The checkout girl at the supermarket concurred -- that's the largest either of us have ever seen!
Chili in July. Kaboob and Fajita beef from We-Li-Kit (it wasn't Brookside's week at the Farmer's Market)
The squash got attacked by the presumed Woodchuck again (plus they need bigger cages
Thinking I need flowers on the left side, too.
It Lives! New battery, alternator are in.
Trucks in the garage as I work on putting on a new muffler and tailpipe...
First Squash!
First Tigerlilly!
One of the Daylillies I bought in North Stonington last year:
Put up netting over the blueberries. Still need more tent pegs to secure it, and more wire ties!
First tater harvest of the year:
Accompanying a tuna steak:

Good week so far...and most of the weekend to go.
Stopped at Pam's after work to return a leftovers container, and as I pulled up could hear the kids in the backyard:
Friday on the way home I felt like a steak, and I hadn't left one out to defrost in the morning. This was some sort of shoulder cut -- I completely winged it and just couldn't believe how perfect it was when I cut in:
Putnam Farmer's Market haul. Want to make Chili this weekend, and this is We-Li-Kit's week for selling beef at the market.
And lunch on Saturday -- this is the first major piece of new furniture I've ever bought. Everything else has been family stuff or used. The only other thing I can think of that I bought new since I've lived here was a single kitchen stool.

And the funny for the week:
