Day Off...

Looked at my calendar at 7:45 on Monday...and decided I could take the day off :)

It was going to rain off and on, so no sense trying to finish cleaning the garage since some stuff still needed to go outside while I finished.

I believe the station is in use for a mini-pumper. They have a newer station a bit up Route 2, I'd presume this was their original station but I don't know the history.

Most towns keep sand on hand, maybe some crushed asphalt...a town this steep keeps rock. Lots and lots of rock on hand.

Next three I'm not exactly sure where, somewhere south of Charlemont and west of the Deerfield River.

Crappy photo that of a stone that floored me. Cynthia Alexander, Age 38, d. 1809. Epitath reads "Farewell my friend to we meet again." That is an very rare sentiment to see on a headstone of this era in New England.
