Lawn got a bit tall this year...
I was running behind when I finally went to use the mower...but the old battery was beyond bad. Even jump started mower would only run a few minutes before the voltage dropped; I'm guessing the battery was internally shorted so was overwhelming the generator on the mower. And I didn't think to try w/o the battery; I bet it would've stayed running once started. Anyway, took a couple weeks before I got a working battery (it takes a small size one I couldn't find locally in stock).
!@%$%...Friday afternoon I saw a dump truck coming at me on Kennedy Drive on the big curves and it was leaning to one side and tires bulging going way to fast. Gravel was spilling out from under the bed cover, I was surprised my windshield survived. Except it only "survived" for a couple hours, got back in the car after I was home for a few hours and the crack had popped!
This spot I won't fully mow until later this summer. I did just make one mow trail in and out for now.
At least the mower when it runs can chew through this hayfield! High blade speed for the win!

May 29, 2022 -- Pre-Running the Green Trails for Wheeling for Warriors
Got asked to lead the "stock friendly" Green Trails on Class VI roads in New Hampshire.
Had a couple roads that I checked early on that I won't use for the run. Meeting House Hill Road (where the cemetery pics come from) was bouldered off on the north end very recently; hoping maybe just for until a logging project is done but probably won't be re-opened :(
Still enough I should have about 60 miles in 6 hours for a group of 12 Jeeps.
I am so pissed I didn't bring my good camera...so many neat things (including ones I didn't take iPhone snapshots of) that I came across.
And when I'm not in a group there is time to stop and take the photos.
You find telephone poles (and lines!) in the darndest places!
...and stop signs in even more darnder spots!
(Windshield wasn't clean, so I lost a lot of photos that the iPhone struggled to focus because of the bug splatter :( )
